As the name BG Sports Horses would suggest, behind it all is Beth George. With a vast background in the equestrian industry, working with an array of horses across all disciplines. She is an ambitious show jumper, currently jumping up to Foxhunter level on her self produced string of show jumpers. Jumping aside she has also dabbled in dressage, team chasing, showing and hunting.
Introducing our Head Girl - Madi!
Having started off within BG Sports Horses as an apprentice, Madi has worked her way up the ranks to take on second in command and second in the saddle to the ponies.
Madi has a fantastic can do attitude, loves working with the vast range of horses that comes through the gates and has become a serious show groom with fantastic organisational skills.
We are so proud of Madi's development and hard work.
What would we do without our newest recruit -Ruby!
Having started within BG Sports Horses as an apprentice, Ruby very quickly climbed her way up and is now the second in the saddle to the horses. Competing and producing her horses too, Ruby knows exactly what should be done to get the best out of a horse in their management and ridden eduction.
She is extremely organised keeping the yard and horses looking fabulous 24/7.
We are very lucky to have Casual Team Member - Harri keeping the yard in check.
Harri has been in the equine industry for years, working at livery yards and the like.
Harri provides our cover for when Beth herself cant be around or we are away at shows assisting the other girls.
She is a huge asset to our team and makes sure all stables and the yard is at our 5* standard we pride ourselves on!
Our team would not be complete without Casual Team Member - Kate Hawkins.
After many years as Beth's right hand woman, Kate has taken a step back to a causal team member whilst she undertakes a Zoology degree at Hartpury.
However she is around whenever we need her and assists in all the care, riding, grooming and maintenance at Greenlands Equestrian.
Providing the smiles at weekends is our Casual Weekend Worker - Millie.
Millie is a great asset to the team, with her high turnout skills and fabulous plaiting techniques.
She is a pro with handling our young horses, having raised her own from 6 months old.
We are glad to have Millie’s practical brain keeping the cogs turning.
The support network on and off the yard definitely relates to Graham & Tina George.
Both directors of BG Sports Horses with active roles in keeping the cogs turning behind the scenes, so that the team can solely focus on the horses.
When booking in for a visit don't be surprised if you come across either of them to greet you!
